From lead feedback to a PDF in Discord with n8n

The client receives a PDF containing lead information directly in Discord, both as an attachment and as a download link. Delivery runs automatically. If the workflow fails, the client receives an error notification so they can track the issue.

The automation uses n8n to connect incoming feedback, customer data, document generation and delivery.

From feedback to a PDF

A webhook receives the feedback. The workflow validates and normalizes that input, retrieves customer information, and merges the two before normalizing the Kajabi contact data.

Next, it builds the report as HTML, converts that HTML into a file, and sends it to a PDF-generation step. The resulting document is delivered through Discord without a separate manual approval step.

Delivery and record keeping

The workflow diagram shows three branches after PDF generation:

• Discord messaging for client delivery.
• A Google Drive upload followed by a Google Sheets update.
• An email sequence that retrieves a template, prepares the message data and runs a send step.

These branches connect report delivery with file storage and record updates. The client has both the PDF itself and a download link available through Discord.

Making failures visible

Automatic delivery is paired with error notification. If a failure occurs, the client is informed so they can track the issue.

That notification is distinct from recovery: this overview does not specify automatic retries or how a failed run is resolved.
